AmeriCares Global Programs Regional Platform

With the establishment of our regional office in Mumbai, AmeriCares has built upon a long and successful history in the country. Establishing a local base has enabled us to:

1. Accept and distribute donations of high quality medicines from India’s burgeoning pharmaceutical industry.
2. Provide medical assistance to under-resourced hospitals, clinics and community health programs in India and neighboring Africa and Asia.

We are achieving our objective to reach more people around the world, in addition to helping more people within India itself. To improve the availability of medicines to indigent communities and disaster-prone areas in the region, AmeriCares is replicating its medical assistance and emergency response programs through our Mumbai office.
